In December, when the winter in southern China remains as warm as spring, Lanyan Electronics' annual team building trip kicked off in the picturesque Qingyuan, Guangdong. The two-day, one-night itinerary from December 20th to 21st allowed us to temporarily leave busy work behind, relax body and mind amidst green mountains and clear waters, enhance tacit through collaborative challenges, and collectively write an unforgettable chapter of team memory.
01 PART: Welcoming the Dawn, Departing Happily
On the morning of December 20th, as the first rays of sunlight fell upon the city, Lanyan Electronics' colleagues had already gathered at the company entrance. Two buses were neatly lined up, ready for departure.
Inside the bus, there was cheerful laughter; outside, the winter scenery of southern China unfolded gradually. Everyone shared interesting work stories from recent times, full of anticipation for the upcoming journey. The journey was filled with laughter and joy.
After about a two-hour drive, the team successfully arrived at the Qingyuan camp. The fresh air and lush greenery instantly washed away the fatigue of the journey, and everyone greeted the following activities with high spirits.
02 PART: Joining Hands to Meet Challenges, Seeing True Feelings Through Unity
Led by professional coaches, the first team challenge - creative expansion games - officially began. Mixed teams from various departments quickly broke down barriers between departments through carefully designed activities such as "Human Knot," "Linking Rings," "Full of Energy," and "Back-to-Back Balloon."
The "Human Knot," "Linking Rings," and "Full of Energy" games consisted of three games forming one large game. Each team needed to complete it within 2 minutes. The goal was to untangle the "human knot" without letting go of hands, followed by passing a ring without letting go. Through continuous attempts and adjustments, everyone gradually mastered the techniques, and their coordination became more and more tacit.
Back-to-Back Balloon: Teams of 5, with a balloon held between the back of the teammate in front and the front of the teammate behind, hands not allowed to touch the balloon. After holding it, they walked together towards the finish line. Each small team fully utilized the advantages of teamwork and achieved excellent results. Everyone supported each other, helped one another, and overcame difficulties together during this process, demonstrating the deep friendship and high默契默契 (tacit understanding) among colleagues.
At the game site, sounds of strategic discussions and cheers rose and fell. Engineers usually focused on technology showed amazing creativity and collaboration skills. Team cohesion and默契默契 (tacit understanding) were effectively enhanced through the games.
03 PART: A Few Good Friends, Steamy and Warm
In the afternoon, the team went to the famous Qingyuan Qingquan Bay Hot Springs. Known as the "Number One Water in Southern China," the mineral-rich hot spring water was warm and comfortable.
Everyone moved between the characteristic pools to experience them. Amidst the steaming mist, work fatigue gradually dissipated. Colleagues in small groups enjoyed the therapeutic effects of the hot springs while chatting freely about life and work. Colleague relationships became more harmonious and natural in the relaxed atmosphere.
04 PART: Gathering Around the Fire, Talking About the Future in Warmth
As night fell, the team building activities entered the warmest segment - the BBQ bonfire party. Smoke curled up, aromas filled the air, and colleagues who usually sit in the office transformed into BBQ masters, each showing their skills.
The food sizzled on the grill, songs from the open-air karaoke filled the night sky, ranging from classic oldies to popular hits. Colleagues took turns showcasing their singing voices.
As night fell, the bonfire party pushed the atmosphere to its climax. Around the leaping flames, team games and talent performances took turns on stage. The hand-in-hand group dance tightly connected everyone's hearts.
04 PART: Advancing Side by Side, Reaching the Summit Together
On the second morning, the team went to Qingyuan Bijia Mountain. This mountain, named for its "shape resembling a pen holder," became a natural stage for the team to challenge themselves and advance together.
During the climb, steep steps and winding mountain paths tested everyone's physical strength and willpower. Colleagues with better physical fitness proactively helped carry bags and offered encouragement; when someone seemed slightly tired, a helping hand was always extended nearby.
登山途中，陡峭的台阶、蜿蜒的山径考验着每个人的体力和意志。体力较好的同事主动帮助背包、加油打气；有人稍显疲惫时，身旁总会伸出援助之手。
Encouraged by the team spirit of "never leaving anyone behind," all members successfully reached the summit.
在“绝不落下一人”的团队精神鼓舞下，全员成功登顶。
Standing atop Bijia Mountain, with the breeze brushing their faces, overlooking the scenery of Qingyuan city and the winding Beijiang River, a sense of conquest arose spontaneously. The group photo captured this unforgettable moment - with the blue sky and white clouds as the backdrop, green mountains and trees as the scene, and every smiling face witnessing the team's glory.

This Qingyuan team building was not only a journey of physical relaxation but also a journey of spiritual cohesion. In the expansion games, we learned more effective collaboration; on the mountain climbing path, we experienced the power of mutual support; beside the bonfire, we felt the warmth of the team. Although this Qingyuan trip for Lanyan Electronics has ended, the power of team cohesion will continue to shine in future work, driving us to jointly move towards new heights.
